  Father Allman was born in Washington, DC, and raised in Bowie, MD. He professed vows as a Redemptorist in 1994. Ordained in 2000, Father Allman has lived out his vocation in a variety of settings. He spent his first years as a parish priest in the Caribbean on the island of Saint Lucia. He then studied in Rome, was involved in parish ministry in Boston, studied at Catholic University, and spent four years serving at the National Shrine of Saint John Neumann in Philadelphia. He is currently the Superior of the Redemptorist Mission on the island of Dominica, West Indies, while also serving on his Provincial leadership team.
